12 Months of Giving

Mission Statement: To invest back into our immediate community and create as large of an impact as possible with what we are able to contribute. 

Home Grown has launched 12 months of giving. 50 cents from every order of Cauliflower Wings, the Classic Burger, Up All Night martinis and Strawberry Lemonades will be donated to our featured monthly non-profit. Look for the   on our menu!  Click through on each non-profit's logo to learn more about each organization and to donate directly.  

Criteria: Non-profits should be located or have a chapter in Newark (preferably) or New Castle County. Non-profits should be on the smaller side or have a smaller infrastructure so that our funds do the most work. Donations are not extravagant, so we want our contributions to skip over paying for admin costs, marketing, etc, and be used as much as possible towards actual change and go towards the people they are helping, etc. Non-profits will not be religious of nature (benefiting a religious group,) but if a religious group is spearheading the work, and the work is non denominational, and funds being used are separate from the religious organization, that is ok. Non-profits we are paired with should have a wide impact. While sponsoring one child with special needs is worthwhile, due to our monetary limitations and our desire to have a direct and broader impact, an organization that provides many impoverished children with backpacks and school supplies is more of the direction we are looking to go at this time. 

In time, as we grow this program, and add on to our charitable contributions, we look forward to working with larger organizations and impaction more lives. If your organization does not fall under the parameters above, please reach out about our Local Flavor Fundraising. https://www.homegrowncafe.com/fundraising/ This is another great way to directly benefit your organization regardless of how LARGE or SMALL it is, and it does not need to be located in Newark.
